Today is Valentine’s Day, a day centered around love. My favorite topic! I love this day, because I love love.
To be clear, I am single. One might even say, very single. And you know what, my relationship status has zero to do with my feelings toward Valentine’s Day. Because love is not just about romantic love - that’s just one tiny facet of love. There’s love for your friends, love for your life, love for you family, love for the trees outside, love for your OWN damn beautiful self that is alive and somehow has the ability to be reading and understanding these words at this very moment. Woah! That’s pretty incredible. You are magic, let me remind you.
Anyway… on this Valentine’s Day, I encourage you
to celebrate you.
Because you are the most important thing in your life.
How can I qualify that statement?
Because you are the exclusive constant in your life that you will have from the moment you were born until the day that you die. And you owe it to yourself, more than anyone, to offer yourself the utmost love on this day and all days.
Our entire life experience is a reflection of our inner experience - if we want to experience love outside of ourselves, we must experience it within ourselves first.
And so to celebrate you, I’d like to offer you two things.

I was really excited for this partnership for two reasons:
I’m a huge supporter of shopping local
I’ve been on a recent personal quest to rediscover Boston. Nift seemed to pop into my life at exactly the time I sent that intention. Funny how those intentions always seem to play out… 😏
It’s pretty simple. You download the app, put in your zip code and select the types of businesses you want to discover. It provides you with options of local businesses and you choose where you want gift cards (Nift cards) to. The Nift card pulls up right there in your phone and you show it to the person checking you out when you’re at the coffee shop, restaurant, shop, wherever you are, and then you’re good to go. You can gift your friends with Nifts so they can try new places out too - or the two of you can try new places out together! More everybody wins stuff 🙌
On Monday, I had myself a morning in Brookline courtesy of Nift.
First, trying out a new coffee shop (Brothers & Sisters) where my entire breakfast and coffee was covered with my $10 Nift card.

Then, walking right over to EmpowHer You for a consult with Alex, an energy healer and spiritual guide. Alex and I have known each other for years - she offered mini reiki sessions at Fit University’s Finals Relaxation Station way back when - but I had never been into her office or really knew the work she did outside of Reiki.
I was so excited to see her business pop up on Nift - and was even more excited when I went in for my consult, learned about what her work can do for me, and booked a follow up life activation session. Major major major gratitude for Nift for leading me into her space! So much to come from this, I just know it.
